Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist
Master of Counselling, BSW, MSW, RSW
Sarah is a compassionate and trauma-informed Registered Social Worker with over six years of experience in the mental health field. She supports individuals navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, low self-esteem, and body image concerns.
Sarah also brings specialized expertise in helping clients explore the impact of religious trauma, spiritual abuse, and the complexities of faith deconstruction. She offers a safe, non-judgmental space for those unpacking cultural or religious messaging around identity, sexuality, and worth—including issues related to evangelical purity culture.
She holds both a Master and Bachelor of Social Work from Lakehead University. Drawing from a diverse toolkit of evidence-based modalities—including Internal Family Systems (IFS), cognitive therapies, and narrative approaches—Sarah helps clients reconnect with themselves, process their experiences, and build a life aligned with their values.
Sarah’s clinical background includes work in addictions, trauma services, and both virtual and in-person psychotherapy. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centred, with an emphasis on creating space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered in their healing journey.
At VOX Mental Health, Sarah is honoured to walk alongside clients as they explore their story, deepen self-trust, and move toward meaningful personal growth.
Sarah provides virtual sessions only.
